When Something Still Works — But No Longer Fits

Not every transition begins with something going wrong.

Sometimes the role is still respectable. The people are still good. The work still matters.

And yet something feels different.

Our priorities change. Our interests change. The way we want to spend our time changes. Sometimes growth simply makes us look at familiar circumstances through a different lens.

That does not require blame.

It may simply require reflection.

A useful question can be:

Does this still fit the person I am becoming?

There may not be an immediate answer — and there doesn’t have to be.

Sometimes noticing the question is the beginning.

Reality Check: Growth does not always mean leaving something behind. Sometimes it means becoming more intentional about what you carry forward.

Have you ever realized that something wasn’t necessarily wrong — it just wasn’t right for you anymore?
